Winter Clothing Drive For Homeless Veterans On October 18th

The Veterans Chamber of Commerce-NJ in partnership with Roselle Park First Aid Squad (RPFAS) will be collecting needed winter items on Saturday, October 18 to help Homeless Veterans throughout the state. The collection drive will be at at the Roselle Park First Aid Squad, located at 535 Laurel Avenue, from 10 a.m. until 4 in the afternoon.

Members of the RPFAS and Veterans Chamber of Commerce will be collecting:

  • Cases of bottled water
  • Baseball caps (new)
  • Gloves (new)
  • Hooded sweatshirts (new)
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Chapstick
  • Deodorant
  • Combs & Brushes
  • Tissues
  • Moisturizing Cream
  • Hand Wipes

Those unable to attend or participate on October 18th but would still like to donate and drop off any of the items requested can have them delivered to the RPFAS building on Larch Street. Members of the First Aid Squad are available evenings Sunday through Friday 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Squad House.
