Winfield Park Man Arrested For Possession Of Syringe After Traffic Stop

On October 9, 2011 at approximately 9:37 p.m., Sgt. Dominick Frino observed a 1992 Mercury Cougar traveling westbound on the 200 block of West Westfield Avenue with its third brake light not working. A motor vehicle stop resulted in the discovery of a used hypodermic needle (syringe).

The driver, Allyn C. Johnson, age 26 of Winfield Park, was placed under arrest and charged with 2C:36-6 (possession of a hypodermic syringe) and 39:3-66 (maintenance of lamps) and released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court date of October 20, 2011.
