The Borough Clerk’s office will be open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17th to accommodate residents who wish to register in-person in order to vote during the November general election on November 7th.
Borough Clerk Andrew Casais will be providing the last-minute service for the second time this year. Earlier in May, the clerk’s office was open late to register voters for the primary election.
This practice by the borough clerk is an option in NJSA 19:31-2 that allows for a municipal clerk to hold extended hours for the purpose of voter registration.
