Unlicensed Driver Arrested For Providing Counterfeit Insurance

On April 17, 2011 at 3:29 p.m., Patrolman Joshua Medrano observed a blue Ford traveling southbound on Locust Street in violation of 39:3-74 (view obstruction). At the intersection of First Avenue and Locust Street in Roselle, a motor vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of the driver for providing a counterfeit insurance card and being an unlicensed driver.

The driver, Raul Hernandez, was arrested and charged with 2C:21-2.3 (providing fraudulent insurance card); 39:3-10 (unlicensed driver); and 39:3-74 (view obstruction). He was released pending a Union County Superior Court date of April 27, 2011.
