Last Thursday, August 17th, around 7:11 p.m., Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) officers responded to the 100 block of West Roselle Avenue on a report of a burglary in progress where two individuals were observed – by an alert neighbor – entering the rear of the dwelling.
Upon arrival, officers located a broken window on the rear door. Once inside, a search was conducted where two individuals were located and identified as Jenna M. Medina, age 19 from Roselle Park, and Frank E. Cepeda-Jimenez, age 18 from Elizabeth. Both were both placed under arrest and found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were ultimately charged with Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, Possession Of CDS, and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were released on a summons with a future Roselle Park Municipal Court date.
