Kathleen Carlin, the RPMS Principal, along with Frances Kenny, the principal of Robert Gordon Elementary School, will both be retiring at the end of the school year.
Mrs. Kenny has been the principal at Robert Gordon for six years, having been appointed in September of 2012. Ms. Carlin became the RPMS Principal in 2013.
At the February 20th Board Of Education meeting, BOE President Loren Harms commented, “Ms. Carlin was here for the past 10 years. Mrs. Kenny has been here to 12 . . . The board wishes them all the best in the future for a healthy retirement.”
This will leave two schools looking for new administrators for the 2018-19 school year. Mrs. Kenny’s retirement will be effective July 1st with Ms. Carlin set to retire a month later with an effective date of August 1, 2018.
