On June 19, 2011 at 3:54 a.m., while on patrol, Patrolman John Deegan observed two (2) juvenile males riding bicycles in the drive-thru of the McDonald’s located at 100-108 West Westfield Avenue. Upon seeing the patrol vehicle, the two (2) juveniles rode their bikes behind the Kranhert Bros. Building located at 112-118 West Westfield Avenue. Patrolman Deegan stopped the juveniles and identified them as a 13-year-old from Elizabeth and a 13-year-old from Perth Amboy. Officer Deegan transported the juveniles to headquarters. At 4:40 a.m., Roselle Park police officers transported the juveniles to their respective homes because their parents were unable to respond to Roselle Park.
