On September 28, 2011 at 5:50 p.m., police responded to 200 West Webster Avenue (Webster Gardens) on a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she left the apartment at approximately 6 a.m. and upon her arrival home at 5:45 p.m., she discovered the burglary.
Entry was gained through a bedroom window located at the southwest rear corner of the apartment complex. There had been a window fan in the window and the window was not locked. The unknown actor(s) had ransacked the bedroom and living room. Stolen were an Apple iPad, valued at $568.00, $150.00 in euro currency, gold jewelry (unknown value), and personal documents.
Detective Matthew Disano is investigating this case.
At 8:23 p.m., police responded back to 200 West Webster Avenue (Webster Gardens) on a report of a second burglary. The victim stated that she left her residence at 7 a.m. and when she arrived home at 8:23 p.m., she found her apartment had been burglarized.
The apartment had been ransacked. Probable entry was made through a rear window. There was no sign of forced entry. Known stolen at this time are an HP laptop ($700), Apple iPad ($600), Apple iPod Touch ($300), Sony 40″ LCD TV ($700), Olympus camera ($150), Kodak camera ($200), and an unknown amount of jewelry.
