Traffic Stop Ends In Arrest For Theft From Clark Target Store

Yesterday at approximately 11 o’clock in the morning, Patrolman Dean Khallaf conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Westfield Avenue on a 2000 Dodge for a moving violation.

The driver of the vehicle, Stephen N. Lambrecht, age 30 from Middletown, was found to be in possession of three (3) stolen Fitbit devices. According to police, the items were discovered to be taken from the Target store in Clark. This was confirmed by Target loss prevention and said to be valued at approximately $150 each.

Mr. Lambrecht was placed under arrest and charged with receiving stolen property. He was served with a summons and released with a court date.
