On May 4, 2011 at about 7:41 a.m., Patrolman Kevin Florczak observed a green Jeep traveling eastbound at West Colfax Avenue at Beechwood Avenue. Patrolman Florczak observed the vehicle to have dark tinted windows in violation of 39:3-75 and an expired inspection sticker in violation of 39:8-1. A motor vehicle stop on Michigan Avenue in Kenilworth resulted in the discovery of one (1) small clear Ziplock bag containing two (2) small white oval pills of suspected hydrocodone in the possession of the passenger.
The driver was issued traffic summonses 39:3-75 (tinted windows) and 39:3-29(c) (failure to exhibit documents). He was then released from scene.
The passenger, James Sinatra, age 23 of Roselle Park was charged with 2C:35-10(a)(1)( possession of Schedule II narcotic). He was released pending future Superior Court date of May 16, 2011.
