Tinted Windows Violation Leads To Arrest

On September 7, 2010 at about 8:03 p.m., while on patrol southbound on Locust Street at West Westfield Avenue, Patrolman Kevin Florczak observed a black Infinity with dark tinted windows in violation of 39:3-75. A motor vehicle stop on Locust Street at West Webster Avenue resulted in the discovery of two large ziplock bags containing suspected CDS marijuana and a small pack of E-Z Wider rolling papers.

The vehicle was impounded for no insurance, 39:6B-2.

Ivan Velastegui was charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) and 2C:36-2 and traffic summonses for 39:3-75; 39:8-4; 39:6B-2 and 39:4-49.1. Velastegui was then released pending Roselle Park Municipal Court date of September 16, 2010.
