Three Arrested On GSP For CDS

On February 20, 2011 at 11:46 a.m., Patrolman Joshua Medrano observed a tan Honda traveling westbound on West Westfield Avenue in violation of 39:3-76.2F (failure to wear seatbelt). A motor vehicle stop of the Honda on the Garden State Parkway (northbound) led to the discovery that the driver, John Meek, age 20 of Roselle Park, did not have his driver’s license in his possession.  He did possess an expired registration and expired insurance cards.  The front passenger, Roche Landolf, age 24, of Roselle was found to be in possession of 40 empty small Ziplock bags. Further investigation led to the discovery of a sandwich bag containing  suspected marijuana.  A third occupant was identified as Hector Rodriguez, age 30, of Roselle Park. All occupants placed under arrest.  The Honda was impounded  for failure to have insurance.

Meek, Landolf, and Rodriguez were all charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of CDS) and 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia) and released with  a Roselle Park Municipal Court date of March 3, 2011. Landolf received motor vehicle summonses for failure to wear  seatbelt, uninsured vehicle and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
