Theft Reported On East Roselle Avenue

On June 7, 2011 at about 1:34 p.m., Patrolman Kevin Florczak responded to the 100 block of East Roselle Avenue on a report of a theft. The victim stated that he noticed that several items which were last seen about one month prior were stolen from his side porch. The items included:

  1. One (1) large GE air conditioner unit – about 3 ft. wide and weighing about 200 lbs – valued about $500.00.
  2. One (1) 40 ft. ladder valued about $200.00.
  3. Six (6) white and red fishing poles with gold and black Penn reels with a total value about $200.00.

The victim was unsure when the items were stolen and explained that he was on vacation during the last week of May. The victim stated that he observed a male on his property several weeks prior to this incident on an unknown date. The unknown male approached the victim and attempted to persuade him to re-pave his driveway. The male was driving a white pickup truck – make or model unknown.
