The interviews for all four candidates running in this year’s election for two council seats are available for listening.
Richard Graves and current second ward councilman Joseph Petrosky, the candidates for the 2nd ward, discussed issues related directly to their ward as well as the entire borough.
The candidates for the fifth ward, Robert Mathieu and incumbent Thomas ‘Thos’ Shipley, did the same.
Roselle Park is unique in that it is only one of two municipalities that have representatives for each of its five wards be elected by the residents in their perspective wards. Almost all other towns in the state have all their council represents their municipalities at large.
These interviews are complements to the debate for these two wards set for Thursday night, October 25th, at 7 p.m. at the Roselle Park Municipal Complex located at 110 East Westfield Avenue. The debates will be open to the public.
