Teen Reports That Driver Tried To Lure Him Into Car On West Clay Avenue

Yesterday, a 16-year-oldĀ Roselle Park resident reported that at around 9:37 a.m.he was walking in the area of West Clay Avenue at Hawthorne Street when he was stopped by an individual driving a gold Chevy Impala. The driver of the vehicle was described as a heavy-set, black male, with short black hair (no facial hair), approximately in his late 20s to 30s. Once stopped, the driver allegedly had a brief conversation with the juvenile that was sexually explicit in nature and tried to entice him into the vehicle.
