On October 5, 2010, at 6:26 p.m., Detective Hussam Assad and Patrolman Edward Nortrup responded to an out-of-county police department, to take custody of Sean Howard, of Lakeshore, NJ, on a Roselle Park warrant with a bail of $750.00. Howard was transported to Roselle Park Police Department without incident.
Upon arriving at the Roselle Park Police Department, Howard was placed in the processing room and searched. Howard was wearing multiple layers of clothing. While searching Howard, a small clear plastic bag containing a greenish-brown vegetation (suspected CDS marijuana) was found inside his left shoe.
Howard was charged with 2C:35-10A(4) (possession marijuana) he was unable to post bail and transported to Union County Jail without incident.
