Storey & Yakubov Win Their Elections

UPDATE: Jeof Vita was certified as the winner of the write-in election for th unexpired term for the BOE (link to article).

Charlene Storey won a seat as second ward council representative against Scott Nicol and Michael Yakubov easily won to maintain his position as fifth ward council.

Scott Bruckenstein, John Damm, and Troy Gerten all won seats on the Roselle Park Board Of Education (BOE). Troy Gerten was the only candidate who presently sits on the BOE. Write-in candidate Phil Woods received 58 votes to unofficially win the seat left vacant by the resignation of Jason Tribiano last year. Troy Gerten, who was originally appointed to fill that vacancy, ran for a three-year term.
