The Church of the Assumption will be holding its annual St. Patrick’s Day Party Saturday night, March 5th, from 6:30 p.m. till 10:30 at night. The event honors the memory of Bob Knapp, a Roselle Park resident who was also a Roselle Park Fire Department (RPFD) volunteer and fire chief for over a decade.
The event will also present its Annual Shield Award honoring the Policeman, Fireman, and EMT of the Year.
Irish step dancers, bagpipers, and a DJ will provide music and entertainment.
Corned beef & cabbage, potatoes & carrots, rye & Irish Soda bread, desserts, soft drinks, and coffee will be on the menu.
Tickets are $25 per person. Children 10-years-old and under will have a chicken fingers & fries menu for $5. Checks can be made to the Church of the Assumption.
