Shoplifter Sought In Connection With Two Incidents

On Monday, March 3, 2014 between 12:38 p.m. and 12:50 p.m., the above male stole $78.00 worth of Degree deodorant from the Family Dollar Store located at 7 East Westfield Avenue. The suspect is described as a black male, between 45-50 years of age, with a stocky build, having a salt and pepper mustache, wearing a black winter hat, a black jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a white-collar shirt, a dark pair of pants, and a dark pair color boots.

Last Sunday, March 30th, at approximately 11:09 a.m., the same suspect was seen shoplifting $100.00 worth of Degree deodorant from the same Family Dollar Store.

The suspect was wearing similar clothing as during the first offense except for a black winter hat, that captures a better image of the suspect’s face. The male is this time also without a mustache, which makes him look younger, approximately 35-40 years old.

The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) asks anyone who may recognize the individual depicted to contact Detective Harms at (908) 245-8103.
