Roselle Park held its ninth annual remembrance service yesterday, this year being the first time it was held at Kelly-Kaulfers Memorial Park, located between the Faitoute Fire House and First Aid Squad on Laurel Avenue.
The ceremony, which started at 1 p.m., included members of the Kaulfers family who were in attendance to pay honor to Robert M. Kaulfers, a Roselle Park native and Port Authority officer who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
During the service, Robert Kaulfer’s widow spoke stating it was, “A great day for, Bob. I know he would have been really happy and proud.”
