The second annual Roselle Park East vs. West Basketball Game is coming Friday, March 14th at the Roselle Park High School (RPHS) auditorium. Game time is at 6:30 p.m. and teams will include members of the Roselle Park Police Department, Fire Department, EMS, DPW, Recreation Department, BOE, teachers, principals, and members of council. Those slated to play include Sherman School principal Mary Christensen, EJF/Aldene School principal Virginia Gilcrest, and council members Michael Yakubov and Ryan Kelly.
Refreshments will be available at the game. The event is sponsored by the Roselle Park PBA (Policemen’s Benevolent Association), C.O.P. Unit (Community Oriented Policing), and the Roselle Park Dad’s Club. Tickets are $3 and proceeds will go to benefit Roselle Park schools.
