On September 8, 2010 at approximately 9:44 p.m., Patrolman Richard Gaylord observed a blue VW Jetta with the passenger in violation of New Jersey Motor Vehicle statute 39:3-76.2F (seatbelt). A motor vehicle stop was initiated on the 300 block of Chestnut Street. Which resulted in the discovery of a silver metal cylinder containing a CDS residue. This object is used to contain or ingest CDS. The front seat passenger, Pavel Mayer, was arrested.
The driver was issued two motor vehicle summonses; 39:3-40 (suspended driver’s license) and 39:3-76.2F (failure to wear seatbelt).
Mayer was charged with 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia) and motor vehicle summons 39:3-76.2F (seatbelt) and released with a Roselle Park Municipal court date of September 16, 2010.
