The Board Of Education (BOE) voted and approved to make Friday, May 26th, a ‘no school’ day in the district. All Roselle Park School District schools will be closed.
There are a set number of school days and “snow days” – used for inclement weather – in the school calendar. The 2016-17 school year has one snow day that was not used. This gives one extra day in the calendar.
In a previous meeting, the possibility of closing schools on Friday, June 2nd, was discussed but at the April 25th BOE meeting, the board voted to have schools closed the Friday before Memorial Day.
