The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) and the Roselle Park Office of Emergency Management (OEM) have advised all residents to be alert and cautious when driving or walking in the borough. Several roads and sidewalks continue to be obstructed or closed due to fallen limbs and downed live power wires.
Many limbs and obstructions cannot be removed until PSE&G can make the area safe. A large backlog exists and Roselle Park officials are working with PSE&G to ensure they respond as quickly as possible. As of 5:30 p.m. on October 31, 2011, the following hazards still exist:

- East Grant Avenue (between Walnut Street and Chestnut Street)
- West Grant Avenue (between Locust Street and Meadow Street)
- Walnut Street (between East Webster Avenue and East Clay Avenue)
- East Webster Avenue (between Cherry Street and Walnut Street)
- East Grant Avenue (between Magie Avenue and Berwyn Street)
- East Clay Avenue (between Galloping Hill Road and Bender Avenue)
PARTIALLY OBSTRUCTED ROADS OR SIDEWALKS (USE CAUTION):
- East Lincoln Avenue (between Walnut Street and Sherman Avenue)
- East Grant Avenue @ East Clay Avenue
- Hemlock Street (between East Lincoln Avenue and East Colfax Avenue)
- Madison Avenue (between Galloping Hill Road and Charlotte Terrace)
- Markthaler Place (between Galloping Hill Road and Charlotte Terrace)
- East Westfield Avenue (between Walnut Street and Union Road)
- Oakwood Avenue (between West Lincoln Avenue and West Webster Avenue)
- West Webster Avenue (between Bridge Street and Amsterdam Avenue)
