The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) is hosting a boroughwide back-to-school supply drive to help families experiencing financial hardship and need assistance in providing certain necessities for their children this coming school year.
Anyone interested in giving a donation can bring items to Roselle Park Police Headquarters up until Tuesday, September 4th. Other school supply drop-off locations are:
- Dollar Tree @ 158 East Westfield Avenue
- Family Dollar @ 7 East Westfield Avenue
- Rita Pharmacy @ 200 Chestnut Street
Requested items include:
- Backpacks
- Binders
- Calculators
- Color markers
- Color pencils
- Crayons
- Erasers
- Folders
- Glue
- Highlighters
- Index cards
- Lunch sack / lunch box
- Notebook paper
- Notebooks
- Pencil boxes
- Pencils
- Pens
- Rulers
- Scissors
- Tape
All donations will be directly distributed to Roselle Park schools.
RPPD police officer and representative Greg Polakaski stated, “The Roselle Park Police Department hopes that this school supply drive is a simple way to have a profound impact on students and their learning experiences by providing the basic necessities they need for this school year.”
