RPPD Have Identified Two Suspects Involved With Threats To RPHS

The Roselle Park Police Department, in a statement released this afternoon, has identified and filed charges against two (2) individuals suspected of being involved with making threats made toward Roselle Park High School (RPHS). Due to the ages of the suspects, no further information is being released to the public at this time.

Within the past two weeks, four threats – which included bomb threats and explicit acts of violence – were made on social media platforms. In each incident, the Union County Sheriff’s Office and the Roselle Park Fire Department assisted the Roselle Park Police Department in clearing the high school for students and staff to return and proceed with their daily schedule.

With these two arrests, two (2) incidents still remain under active investigation and the identification of remaining suspects is pending.

Anyone with information on these incidents or the actors responsible is asked to contact the Roselle Park Police Department at 908-245-2300.
