The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) has announced the parking and traffic restrictions that will be in place to ensure the safety of participants and spectators for the Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday, May 26, 2014.
There will be No Parking on Monday, May 26th from 8 a.m. till noon along East Grant Avenue between Sheridan Avenue and Chestnut Street.
There will be No Parking on Monday, May 26th from 8 a.m. till noon along Chestnut Street between East Grant Avenue and Webster Avenue.
There will be No Parking on Monday, May 26th from 8 a.m. till noon on the east side of Sherman Avenue between East Grant Avenue and East Clay Avenue.
The Parade Route:
- will begin at the corner of East Grant Avenue at the intersection of Sheridan Avenue
- will travel East on East Grant Avenue to Chestnut Street
- will then turn right heading north on Chestnut Street to Webster Avenue
The above-mentioned streets will be blocked off to vehicular traffic except those involved as participants.
Vehicles and other apparatus involved in the parade will stage and prepare on East Grant Avenue between Sheridan and Sherman Avenues.
There will be NO PARKING signs posted along East Grant Avenue as well as on Chestnut Street along the entire parade route on both sides of the road.
