On October 7, 2011 at 3:31 p.m., Patrolman Joshua Medrano responded to the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue on a report of a male party living in the basement who had active warrants out of Roselle Park for $500 and Newark for $5,000.
Upon arrival, officer Medrano found Alberto Ruiz, age 34 of Roselle Park, in the basement.
Subsequent to his arrest, one (1) glassine fold, labeled ‘Money Train’ containing residue of CDS/heroin and one (1) clear straw containing residue of CDS/ heroin were discovered.
Mr. Ruiz was placed under arrest and additionally charged with 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia). Mr. Ruiz was unable to post bail and transported to Union County Jail.
