On September 13, 2012, at 12:37 a.m., Patrolman Alexander Lanza stopped a 1992 Honda for traffic violations near Hawthorne Street. During the roadside investigation, officer Lanza stated he found the driver, Angel R. Valle, age 23 of Roselle Park, in possession of a bag of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Valle was arrested and released with a summons to appear in RPMC.
