RP Resident Arrest At Train Station

On November 26, 2010 at 5 p.m., while conducting a property check of the Roselle Park New Jersey Transit train station, Patrolman James Kompany observed two (2) males in the tunnel area underneath the train platform. Patrolman Kompany observed these males smoking some sort of cigarette and passing it back and forth between one another. As Patrolman Kompany approached he detected the smell of burning marijuana and discovered the males had begun to leave the area and walk towards the platform. Once he approached, his investigation led to the discovery of a small clear bag containing suspected marijuana in the possession of one of the males identified as Luis Capo, age 22, of Roselle Park.

Capo was charged with 2C: 35-10(a)4 (possession of marijuana) and released pending a municipal court date of December 9, 2010.
