The Casano Community Art Gallery is currently hosting “Progressive Abstract Art” – a solo exhibit of acrylic paintings by Roselle Park resident, Joanna T. Miller – through February 25, 2011.
A self-taught artist originally from Pennsylvania who has been painting since 1969, this is Miller’s first solo show which showcases a collection of colorful acrylic paintings depicting diverse subjects.
“I am delighted to be able to share my artwork with the Roselle Park Community, ” Miller said, “I tend toward abstract acrylic painting and am interested in depicting diverse colorful themes.”
Having moved to Roselle Park three years ago, the mother of 2 enjoys frequenting the Casano Community Center to meet people and get involved in activities. She also loves to dance and is active with wildlife conservation.

The Art Gallery is located in the Casano Community Center, 314 Chestnut St. Roselle Park, New Jersey. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday till 5 pm.
The mission of the Art Gallery is to give Roselle Park residents a venue to display their artistic works and connect with the community at large.
