Roselle Woman Arrested On Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia

On August 2, 2011 at approximately 12:03 a.m. in the area of East Westfield Avenue at Walnut Street, Patrolman Alexander Lanza observed a white Scion in violation of New Jersey Motor Vehicle statute 39:3-66 (maintenance of lamps). A motor vehicle stop on East Westfield Avenue at Union Road resulted in the discovery of a metal grinder containing suspected marijuana residue.

The driver, Ashley Washington, age 22 of Roselle, NJ was placed under arrest and charged with 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia) and 39:3-66 (maintenance of lamps). She was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court hearing on August 11, 2011.
