On January 30, 2011 at 3:41 p.m., Patrolman Kevin Florczak observed a black Audi traveling northbound on Locust Street at West Westfield Avenue. The vehicle did not have a front license plate in violation of 39:3-33. A motor vehicle stop on the 10 block of West Grant Avenue which resulted in the discovery of seven (7) bags of suspected marijuana in possession of the passenger, a 17 year old male from Roselle, NJ. The juvenile was arrested, charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of marijuana) and released to a parent.
The driver was issued a traffic summons for 39:3-33 (unclear plates) and released from the scene.
