Roselle Park’s Fireworks Show Set To Go Off On July 1st

Roselle Park’s annual Independence Day fireworks celebration is set for Saturday, July 1st at 6 p.m.

The borough will be celebrating America’s 241st birthday with fireworks, food vendors, carnival games, rock climbing station, inflatable slide, obstacle courses, a 5-in-1inflatable, live music, and troopers from the Northeast Remnant Garrison of the 501st Legion (link).

Food vendors will be selling BBQ, Italian Ices, pizza, popcorn, hot dogs and more on Colfax Avenue.

A live concert will begin at 7 p.m. featuring Brian Clayton and the Green River Band (link).

Roselle Park’s widely popular fireworks show will begin at dusk.

The event is sponsored through donations from residents and local organizations. Gold Sponsors include Costa’s Restaurant, First Independent Auto Repair Services, McDonalds Roselle Park , Neglia Engineering Association, Samuel Klein and Company, Suburban Disposal Inc., VVR Developers LLC, and World of Liquors. Silver Sponsors include FDR Hitches LLC, Kettle Corn King, Loomis Consulting LLC, and N.A.R Auto Sales. Bronze Sponsors are the Casano Center Association, Chipstix, Crossfield Products, Law Office of Palumbo & Renaud, R&B Show, Sunrise Diner.

Transportation for Roselle Park Senior citizens will be provided through signing up for the service at the Casano Community Center. Street closures will be enforced in surrounding neighborhoods and will be announced at a later date.

The rain date for the event is Tuesday, August 1st, during National Night Out.
