The Roselle Park PBA (Policemen’s Benevolent Association) has had a busy couple of days and nights this week.
This Wednesday,December 17th, members of PBA Local 27 donated presents and volunteered their time to have them delivered to children in town, even having one of their members dress up as Santa. When people usually see a police car approach it brings concern, but Roselle Park’s PBA made their arrival a welcome sight as they stopped by houses delivering Christmas presents early to boys and girls at their homes.
Then, on Thursday, the PBA donated 15 turkeys and canned goods to the Casano Community Center for their food pantry, which was running low and in need of donations.
PBA Delegate and Roselle Park police officer Greg Polakoski stated, “We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.”
