Roselle Park Hires New Police Officer

The governing body unanimously voted to appoint Kyle Lamar, of Beachwood, New Jersey as a Probationary Police Officer at the Thursday night Mayor & Council meeting. Officer Lamar will have an annual salary of $51,946.53 and begin his one-year probationary period on February 17, 2014, after which time, officer Lamar becomes an official permanent Roselle Park Police Officer. The position was filled to replace Joseph Iannone – who resigned his position on January 27th. Mr. Iannone was appointed six months ago in July of 2013.

Police Chief Paul Morrison stated of officer Lamar, “I’d like to welcome Kyle to Roselle Park Police Department. We’re happy to have him. I’m sure he’s going to do a good job for the public here in Roselle Park.”
