Roselle Man Arrested For Marijuana Possession On Westfield Avenue

On June 2, 2011 at 12:49 a.m., Patrolman John Deegan observed three (3) parties standing in the driveway/loading dock on the 100 block of West Westfield Avenue. Sergeant Peter Picarelli arrived as back-up. Upon approaching the parties, Patrolman Deegan immediately detected the odor of burnt marijuana. An investigation led to the discovery of a partially smoked cigar containing suspected marijuana in the possession of Herold Whylie.

Mr. Whylie, age 28 of Roselle, NJ was arrested and charged with 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession of marjiuana). He was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court first appearance date on June 9, 2011.
