On August 31, 2012 at12:45 p.m., Dawn Stuart, age 34 of Roselle Park, was arrested during a traffic stop by Patrolman Nicholas Vaughan. Stuart, who initially identified herself as Karen Stewart, was found to warrants totaling $6,292 from various municipalities including Roselle Park. Stewart was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia – namely tools used to ingest heroin. She was charged with hindering apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stuart was later released to Union Police Department.
