On August 10, 2011 at about 8:14 a.m., Roselle Park Police headquarters advised all police units that a resident of the 700 block of Hemlock Street reported their 3-year-old daughter was missing.
The father stated that he was working in his garage with his daughter. After several minutes, he realized that she was no longer in the garage. A check of the house revealed negative results. He then checked the immediate area around the house which also yielded negative results.
After looking for the child for several minutes he contacted police headquarters. All available police units searched the area and located the child on the 600 block of Galloping Hill Road.
A resident observed the child walking alone on Galloping Hill Road and she was able to take custody of the child until police arrived. The child was returned to her home.
