NOTE: This article is an update from a previously written column with new corrected registration dates.
Roselle Park Fire Department’s (RPFD) hugely popular Santa’s Express returns for a second year. Registration and gift drop-offs for visits from Santa to homes throughout the Borough were originally scheduled for this week but due to scheduling conflicts, according to Deputy Fire Chief Ray Parenteau, the dates for Roselle Park Fire Department’s (RPFD) Santa’s Express have changed. The two (2) new dates for registration are December 9th, 10th, and 12th.
Santa’s Express will have Santa Claus delivering presents to Roselle Park children between Monday, December 14th, and Friday, December 18th between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Santa will be assisted by the firefighters from the Roselle Park Fire Department and he will deliver Christmas presents using a real fire engine.
Parents and/or guardians are asked to register a gift and drop it off in person at the firehouse in their zone (see below) during the following times:

The zones and addresses of firehouse are listed below:
Laurel Avenue @ West Lincoln Avenue | Chestnut Street @ West Lincoln Avenue | Sherman Avenue @ East Westfield Avenue |
Grove Street and Locust Avenue (Red Section) | Locust Avenue and Walnut Street (Blue Section) | Walnut Street and Galloping Hill Road (Green Section) |
Each gift should be wrapped and clearly labeled with the child’s first and last name as well as their address. It is asked that there be a limit of one gift per child of a reasonable size and weight. A registration form that has been completely filled out will also need to be brought on the night of registration.
Notification of delivery dates and times will be made by phone after all registrations have been processed. A specific date/time cannot be guaranteed but the RPFD will do its best to notify participants the night before delivery on the week of the 14th.
Anyone with further questions can call the Faitoute Firehouse at (908) 241-1749 and leave a message or use the contact form on the RPFD website (link).
