Rahway Woman Arrested On CDS Charges

On September 18, 2011 at about 5:42 p.m., Patrolman Kevin Florczak observed a silver Ford traveling northbound on Locust Street approaching West Westfield Avenue. The vehicle then came to a stop at a red traffic light at the intersection. Patrolman Florczak observed the driver of the vehicle not wearing a seatbelt in violation on 39:3-76.2(f) (no seatbelt). A motor vehicle stop resulted in the discovery of one (1) small clear plastic bag which contained suspected marijuana and suboxone sublingual film.

Jacqueline Beadling, age 27 of Rahway, was placed under arrest and charged with two (2) counts of 2C:35-10(a)(1) (possession of Schedule I, II, III, IV drug), 2C:35-10(a)(4) (possession on CDS),  and 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia). Ms. Beadling was released pending a Union County Superior Court date of September 26, 2011.
