Pump It Up, the newest addition to Roselle Park’s business community, will be opening its doors to the public today, May 27th. It is located in part of what was previously known as Ford World at 158 East Westfield Avenue.
Franchise owner Jim Hurta stated that it started when he took his own daughter to a Pump It Up for a party. He recalled, “We had such a good time and she said to me ‘I wish we could sleep there’ – so that was it.”
According to Jim, Pump It Up will be able to host birthday parties, fundraisers, camp events, field trips, after school activities, events for boy & girl scouts, as well as activities for youth groups and church groups. He added that the facility can host up to 200 people for any event.
It will be open seven days a week with a majority of scheduled time reserved for parties and event. ‘Pop-In Playtime’ and ‘Family Jump Time’, which are open time slots for non-scheduled use of the facilities, will be available today at 1:45 p.m. and then again at 4 p.m. – each ‘Pop-In Playtime’ is $10.95 for 90 minutes. Saturday will have a ‘Pop-In Playtime’ at 11:30 a.m. There is a buy-one, get-one free coupon available for the three (3) Pop-In Playtimes during the grand opening. The web site advises arriving 15 minutes earlier to fill out their standard waiver.
Pump It Up will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sundays.
Food, which is catered from local businesses, is available on premise and can be ordered with each party package. More information is available at their web site (link).
