Police Seek Assistance Regarding To Two Car Thefts On Clay & Warren Avenues

On Wednesday, June 22nd, at approximately 6:52 a.m., Roselle Park police officers responded to West Clay Avenue on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. According to the report, it appeared that at approximately 5 o’clock that morning, an unknown individual entered and drove off with the 2016 Hyundai belonging to a Roselle Park resident. The vehicle was later recovered the following Monday, June 27th, by Elizabeth Police in their city limits.

Three days later, on Saturday June 25th, at approximately 10 o’clock at night, Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) responded to Warren Avenue on a report of another stolen motor vehicle. It appeared that sometime between midnight and 6:30 that morning, an unknown individual entered and drove off with a 2007 Toyota belonging to a Roselle Park resident. The vehicle was later recovered the following Wednesday, June 29th, by Elizabeth Police in their city limits.
