Police & Fire Departments Respond To Campsite Behind Sullivan Property

At around 7:48 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 , Roselle Park Police and the Roselle Park Fire Department responded to a report of a smoke condition behind the former Sullivan Chevrolet building. They located an individual, Martin Luna, age 30 of Roselle, in a wooded area behind the former auto dealership maintaining a campsite with a fire pit.

He told the responding officers he lit the fire earlier in the day to keep warm. The fire was extinguished by RPFD. Luna was arrested and transported to RPPD. He was charged with Trespassing on Conrail/Railroad property and later released to a family member.
