September 29, 2017
At 11:33 p.m., Patrolman Dean Khallaf conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2017 Nissan along Woodside Avenue after being called to the area by a concerned resident. The vehicle was said to be parked and occupied for an extended period of time. The driver of the vehicle, Gary B. Pulgarin, age 27 from Roselle Park, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The passenger of the vehicle, Aleksandr Starzak, age 26 from Roselle Park, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant out of Newark Municipal Court. Mr. Pulgarin was arrested and charged with possession of suspected c.d.s. He was issued motor vehicle summons for possession of c.d.s. in a motor vehicle. Mr. Pulgarin was released on a summons with a Roselle Park Municipal Court date. He was released with a new court date from Newark Municipal Court.

October 3, 2017
At 1:04 p.m., Patrolman Richard Gaylord conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2002 Mazda along East Lincoln Avenue for a moving and equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Daniel M. Arbelaez, age 24 from Roselle Park, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and Oxycodone as well as drug paraphernalia. Mr. Arbelaez was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of possession of suspected c.d.s., possession of c.d.s. with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of c.d.s. in a motor vehicle, speeding, and failure to wear a seatbelt. He was released on a summons with a Union County Superior Court date.

October 3, 2017
At 7:10 p.m., Patrolman Angelo Marino responded to an apartment complex on East Westfield Avenue on a report of a suspicious male who was observed breaking into a shed at the rear of the property. A pedestrian stop was conducted with a male who fit the description given by the witness. The pedestrian was identified as James B. Veltre, age 58 from Roselle, who was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Following an on-scene identification by the witness, Mr. Veltre was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons with a Roselle Park Municipal Court date.

October 4, 2017
At 11:55 a.m., Patrolman William Hannon conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2012 Chevy along Faitoute Avenue for an equipment violation while conducting a motor vehicle inspection checkpoint. The driver of the vehicle, Gustavo A. Nana-Rosales, age 24 from Linden, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Nana-Rosales was arrested and charged with possession of suspected c.d.s. and drug paraphernalia. He was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of c.d.s. in a motor vehicle, failure to inspect, and unclear plates. Mr. Nana-Rosales was released on a summons with a Roselle Park Municipal Court date.

October 5, 2017
At 2:25 a.m., Patrolman Alexander Lanza conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2011 Infinity along West Westfield Avenue for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Christopher P. Crockett Jr., age 31 from Carteret, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Crockett Jr. was arrested and charged with possession of suspected c.d.s., and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of c.d.s. in a motor vehicle and tinted windows. Mr. Crockett Jr. was released on a summons with a Roselle Park Municipal Court date.
