Police Activity Report (November 27-30, 2015)

November 27, 2015
At approximately 1:14 p.m. , Roselle Park Police responded to a bis stop in the area of Chestnut Street at Grant Avenue on a report of a theft. The 68-year-old male complainant stated that while waiting for the bus an unknown female walked away with his messenger bag that contained his personal belongings that included a video camera. With the assistance of Union Township Police and New Jersey Transit the suspect, identified as Kathy Carter, age 46 from East Orange, was arrested on the bus for Theft by the Roselle Park Police without incident on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union Township. The bag and its belongings were also recovered. Ms. Carter was charged with theft and released on a summons.

November 28, 2015
At approximately 9:49 a.m., Patrolman William Hannon conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1998 Honda for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Kedar L. Innocent, age 19 from Roselle, was found to be driving on a suspended license and was in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested and charged with Possession of C.D.S. and was released on a summons.

November 29, 2015
At approximately 2:45 p.m., Patrolman Mitchell White conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2001 Chevy for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, George N. Conrad, age 22 from Jersey City, was found to be driving on a suspended license and was in possession of the suspected controlled dangerous substances marijuana, morphine, and codeine. He was arrested and charged with Possession With The Intent To Distribute C.D.S., three counts of Possession Of C.D.S., and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Conrad was released on summonses.

November 30, 2015
At approximately 11:18 p.m., Patrolman Brian Macdonald conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2009 Nissan for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Timothy Cole, age 28 from East Orange, was found to be driving on a suspended license and was in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested and charged with Possession Of C.D.S. He was also later charged with hindering his apprehension as he initially identified himself as ‘Maurice Cole’ to police to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant out Brick Township Municipal Court for $2,500. He was lodged into the Union County Jail on $5,000 bail.
