Police Activity Report (December 5-16, 2015)

December 5, 2015

At approximately 11:21 p.m., Sergeant David Pitts conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1999 Honda for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Hilmi A. Ibrahim, age 20, and passenger, Dominique A. Bell, age 20, from Jersey City were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. and drug paraphernalia. Both were released on a summons.

December 13, 2015

At approximately 1:46 a.m., Patrolman Anthony Rodriguez conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1999 Volkswagen for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Jonathan Aparicio, age 19 from Roselle, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. and drug paraphernalia. The passenger of the vehicle, Edward Mccrohan, age 21 from Roselle Park, was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Elizabeth Municipal Court for $500. Mr. Aparicio was released on a summons and Mr. Mccrohan was turned over to the Elizabeth Police Department.

Later that same day, at 3:11 p.m., Sergeant Dominick Frino conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2001 Saturn for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Nicholas G. Buli Jr., age 21 from Roselle Park, was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and hypodermic needles. The passenger of the vehicle, Sean A. Hall, age 23 from Roselle, was found to be in possession of suspected Suboxone and hypodermic needles. Both were arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Buli was additionally charged with hindering his apprehension as he concealed the C.D.S. on his person. They were ultimately released on a summons.

December 14, 2015

At approximately 12:03 p.m., Patrolman Mitchell White conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1997 Toyota for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, David Colas, age 26 from Linden, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Colas was released on a summons.

December 15, 2015

At approximately 1 p.m., Roselle Park Police responded to 100 West Westfield Avenue (McDonald’s) on a report of a disorderly person who was panhandling and disturbing customers in the restaurant. On scene officers located Salahadin Fisher, age 30 from Linden. He was arrested after providing a false name. He was charged with hindering his apprehension and trespassing. Mr. Fisher was lodged in the Union County Jail on $3,000 bail.
