This supplemental article has information on the application along with the two plans submitted for “The West Clay”.
The corner of Faitoute and West Clay Avenues where Mim’s Pizza & Ice is located – had an application approved for a 14-unit condominium development by the Municipal Land Use Board (MLUB). The application was heard over two MLUB meetings in February and March. This past Monday the resolution to approve the project was formally voted on and approved unanimously.
There are two sets of plans. The first set was submitted in January for the February hearing. At that MLUB meeting, the board heard the application and gave comments of changes they wanted. The second set, dated February 12th, had the changes recommended by the MLUB.
The project, “The West Clay”, will be a three-story building. The second and third floors will have residential condo units. The ground floor will retain Mimi’s as a small restaurant take-out business and a foyer area.
Additionally, business records only show a registered agent – Gregory J. Randazza out of Clark, NJ – as the point of contact for West Clay Associates, LLC, the applicant of the development. The Limited Liability Corporation is listed as the lessee in the project application. The owners of the two West Clay Avenue properties are listed as Paul W. Minitelli and Joseph Grazio.
