Planet Dance Wins 1st Place In Tribute To Prince

Roselle Park’s Planet Dance took 1st place in the Senior Jazz Group category at this year’s That’s Entertainment” Performing Arts Competition held in Flanders, New Jersey on May 21st and 22nd.

Their dance performance of “Let’s Go Crazy” was a tribute to the late musician Prince Rogers Nelson who died last month. The dance studio was also awarded 2nd place platinum for the Senior Hip Hop group. In addition, Planet Dance was ranked 5th place overall of the regional competition.

That’s Entertainment is a New Jersey performing arts organization has been providing family-oriented events and competitions for over a decade and a half.

Planet Dance opened its door in Roselle Park in 2014 and has been providing dance classes to all levels of interest and ages since then. The school is located at 111 Chestnut Street. More information can be found on their website (link), Facebook page (link), or by calling (908) 925-2559.
