The hiring of a Director of Code Enforcement, Construction Official, Building Subcode Official, and Building Inspector in May has prompted a review of the position and duties listed in Roselle Park’s code book.
Ordinance 2495 amends the Director of Code Enforcement Director to remove references to “Deputy Code Enforcement Officer” and “Zoning Officer” as well as “Building Inspector”. These changes are meant to align with amendments made in Ordinance 2496 in order to remove any contrary language in the responsibilities related to Code Enforcement.
This bill is scheduled to be voted into law after a public hearing on Thursday, June 15th, at a regularly scheduled municipal meeting in Borough Hall.
